Congressman Patrick J. Tiberi speaks at BMI FCU Board Meeting

At the BMI Federal Credit Union October board meeting (10/15/2008), President/CEO Sharon Custer thanked Congressman Tiberi for helping pass legislation that increased federal share insurance for credit unions to at least $250,000 per account ~ See video here. Congressman Tiberi then spent more than an hour discussing the Economic Stabilization package with the BMI FCU Board Members.

Congressman Tiberi discussed how he was thankful credit unions, like BMI FCU, were not part of the financial problem and how as a result, credit unions will likely play a much more prominent role providing financial services to American Consumers in the future. Congressman Tiberi stated at the board meeting, “The one silver lining in the financial crisis, that I’ll compliment you on, is that credit unions are still doing business the old fashioned way, the conservative way. You, and your members, are reaping the benefits of that now.”

Our new Dublin Branch and Corporate office at 6165 Emerald Parkway is now open! Our full service branch features four drive-thru lanes and a convenient drive up ATM. Our 6165 Emerald Parkway Dublin Branch is conveniently located between Post Road and Tuttle Crossing.

Important Note: Google, Mapquest, and other Internet mapping programs do not have the locations of businesses on Emerald Parkway displayed accurately in their search results. Please be aware that our 6165 Emerald Parkway location is actually north of Woerner Temple Road, not south of Woerner Temple Rd. as shown on the mapping programs.
